About The Position

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Systems Software Engineer for its Nsight Compute team, which develops GPU performance profiling tools used by CUDA engineers in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. The engineer will design and implement profiling features, particularly for AI applications, and help CUDA developers make effective use of GPU technology. The role involves collaborating with NVIDIA teams, including the compiler and CUDA driver teams, to shape and design features from the ground up.

Requirements

At least 5 years of proven software engineering experience, focused on performance tools.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Strong C++ programming skills.
Knowledge of GPU hardware, or motivation to learn about it.

Nice To Haves

Expertise in CUDA kernel programming and profiling.
Knowledge of parsing DWARF.
