About The Position

Verizon is seeking data-driven candidates with strong data analytical and visualization backgrounds to join their System Performance team. The role involves investigating, evaluating, and resolving network and data performance issues to ensure efficient and reliable service for customers. This work directly impacts customer satisfaction and aims to keep Verizon ahead of the competition. The successful candidate will utilize large amounts of data to develop network insights and strategies for performance improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
• AMOS/ENM scripting and automation experience with working knowledge of Python or a similar language
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time

Nice To Haves

• Proven ability in handling 4g/5g networks, including NSA/SA/VoNR and legacy RAN networks
• Troubleshooting and vendor management experience

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and resolve network and data performance issues to ensure efficient and reliable service for customers
• Use large amounts of data to develop network insights and strategies to improve performance
• Perform data analytics and apply data science techniques to improve the network’s capacity, coverage and overall service
• Analyze the network’s capacity and coverage, and look for ways to make improvements
• Evaluate service performance trends and isolate root causes of impacted services
• Automate data collection, reports, visualization and system updates
• Create dashboards and geolocating data to present information dynamically
