We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key member of a technical team responsible for the full lifecycle of an enterprise Revenue Management System (RMS). You will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, training, operations, maintenance, and ongoing support of mission-critical systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong systems engineering, network engineering, cloud, and infrastructure management experience, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Linux and UNIX.
  • Experience with database management software, such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Excellent scripting skills with knowledge of programming languages, such as Perl, Ruby, and Python.
  • SonarQube setup and configuration.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, AWS EKS and AWS CDK
  • Good knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP, IP, and OSI models.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure Windows and Linux systems in an enterprise environment.
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure; AWS CLI scripting experience is preferred.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for problem identification, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft applications, including Microsoft SQL Server and related enterprise solutions.
  • Capture and define system requirements and develop 30/60/90-day plans to support customer programs.
  • Perform system hardening in accordance with FISMA and DISA standards, lead break-fix activities, and develop exemption documentation to satisfy accreditation requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for a team of engineering resources.
  • Collaborate with management teams to assess, define, and document system requirements.
  • Analyze network infrastructure and performance data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and develop network architectures and enterprise computing infrastructure solutions.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of computer systems.
  • Monitor systems and networks for security threats, malfunctions, performance issues, and errors.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective, long-term solutions.
  • Prepare network analytics, technical reports, operational documentation, and user manuals.
  • Train and mentor engineering teams on new technologies, protocols, and industry best practices.
