As a Senior Logistics Specialist, you serve as a subject‑matter expert within the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) organization, contributing advanced knowledge to ensure our products remain safe, reliable, and maintainable throughout their lifecycle. You will lead moderately sized logistics efforts, collaborate closely with engineering and program leadership, and influence sustainment strategies across a product line. This role requires independent problem solving, complex analysis, and the ability to guide others on logistics best practices. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. The organization is comprised of multiple disciplines that support engineering teams, program offices, and our customers. LCE disciplines are engaged throughout the entire product life cycle—from initial concept and design through deployment, sustainment, and eventual deactivation.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following: data analysis, data collection, logistics, Engineering Documentation, Configuration Management (CM), or Product Data Management (PDM).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with various areas of the Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List, system drawings and/or logistics plans.
  • Spares Analysis and Spares List Development (Poisson Based Statistical Analysis, OPUS Suite, or similar analysis software experience)
  • Experience in performing Level of Repairability Analysis (LORA) using COMPASS and/or OPUS.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of Logistics Management Information (LMI) in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-PRF-49506
  • Experience utilizing EAGLE, POWERLOG or SLICWave tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and lead complex Logistics Supportability Analyses and provisioning data activities for assigned products.
  • Perform advanced spares analyses and influence hardware availability strategies across multiple programs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Chief Engineers, Program Directors, Program Managers, and other stakeholders to shape sustainment and lifecycle decisions.
  • Apply advanced logistics principles to develop program-level strategies, plans, and recommendations.
  • Support proposal development, including BOE creation, cost rationale, and logistics work package planning.
  • Contribute to process improvements and mentor lower-level logistics professionals where needed.
  • 10% or less domestic/international travel.
