About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide expert technical analysis support for the life-cycle management of submarine and undersea systems. This role involves supporting all phases of the life-cycle, from initial capabilities determination to post-employment evaluation. The engineer will also provide planning and coordination support for interfacing with NAVSEA, Shipyard, and Fleet activities for the execution and documentation of maintenance availabilities, engineering changes/alterations, and supply support. Additionally, this position will serve as the Training and Test Lead for operational testing, system shakedown events, and Fleet training/workups. The responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and implementing processes for configuration management, document control, deviation/departure tracking, schedule/milestone establishment, and cost estimation and control. The role also requires coordinating and participating in program and technical status meetings/reviews, developing inputs, documenting proceedings, and tracking action items.

Requirements
