We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is advancing the next generation of optical systems, and we’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer (P3) to join our team. This role is an opportunity to work hands‑on with innovative electro‑optical (EO) technologies while contributing to complex system development efforts. As an Electro‑Optical Test Engineer, you will design, develop, and execute test plans for EO systems and components, focusing on evaluating performance, quality, and reliability in both laboratory and production environments. You will analyze test data, troubleshoot technical issues, prepare clear reports, and collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to ensure products meet all requirements and standards. This position plays a key role in integration, testing, and issue resolution across multidisciplinary teams. You will work both independently and collaboratively, applying your technical expertise to make informed decisions that drive successful project outcomes. The role offers exposure to multiple aspects of system design and operation, providing a broad, system‑level perspective and the opportunity to help ensure all components operate together seamlessly.
