Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with AWS cloud services, including provisioning, configuring, and managing AWS infrastructure (such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch).
  • Experience migrating on-premises workloads to AWS and integrating hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices and security standards within AWS environments.
  • Proficiency in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing AWS cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Understanding of AWS cost management and budgeting tools.
  • Extensive skills with Windows networking, Active Directory and Windows Security
  • Strong knowledge of Vmware virtualization platform
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) administration experience, including configuration, publishing, and troubleshooting
  • Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) experience, including image management and stream-based provisioning
  • Citrix NetScaler/ADC experience including load balancing, SSL offload, and Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
  • Citrix StoreFront and Access Gateway/Citrix Gateway experience for secure remote access and user authentication
  • Extensive skills with Citrix products and technologies, including day-to-day platform operations, performance tuning, and incident/outage troubleshooting
  • Advanced knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security)
  • Experience in enterprise-level software package integration and deployment
  • Advanced knowledge of server health reporting and monitoring
  • Ability to evaluate system’s capacity, utilization trends and plan future needs accordingly
  • 7-10 years working in Enterprise setting, maintaining and supporting physical, virtual, on-prem, and cloud-based systems, applications, and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of physical and virtual systems, Citrix, Microsoft Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and any two-factor authentication tools and applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerShell or Python.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, systems, and application security.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite as well as MS Visio and Project tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Detailed understanding of information systems in the healthcare operations domain desired
  • Knowledge of Linux and/or UNIX is a plus.
  • Knowledge of modern storage systems (SAN, NAS) on-prem and/or cloud-based.
  • Knowledge of modern backup and recovery software and tools.
  • Some experience in a medical/hospital environment is preferred.
  • AWS certification (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer) is preferred.
  • MCP and additional certificates in data security, networking, or specific technologies (Citrix,VMware, Azure, Networking, etc..) will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to optimize and improve existing processes, systems, and platforms of substantial technical complexity.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for specific technologies and processes.
  • Leads troubleshooting efforts during systems outages.
  • Provides next-level support to internal systems analysts and engineers
  • Contributes his/her technical expertise during assessments, designs, and implementations of global infrastructure systems and services.
  • Participates in planning sessions to capture future system architecture design.
  • Works cross-functionally to create document requirements and develops and delivers solutions.
  • Active participation in on call rotation and occasional work outside normal business hours
  • Must be a team player and be willing to participate in occasional off hours activities to accomplish departmental goals
  • Capable of evaluating, developing, and implementing hardware and software solutions to ensure data and system integrity
  • Ability to review and deploy service packs, hot fixes, system updates, and vendor-supplied patches
  • Ability to provide system and public cloud expertise across the organization to address operational issues as well as building new capabilities.
  • Ability to create, modify, and maintain existing standard operating procedures, policies, and other relevant documents.
  • Defines and recommends requirements for the hardware and the relevant software upgrades and updates.
  • Collaborates with other Business Units in assessing, evaluating, and implementing relevant technologies, applications, and capabilities as per agreed-upon business requirements.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains visual diagrams and technical documents capturing current and future system state.

Benefits

  • The base pay scale for this position is $167,500.00 - $255,250.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role.
