About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. The candidate should be a self-starter, able to operate with minimal supervision, and possess a willingness to learn. Flexibility and the ability to work well with other team members are essential. The role requires a willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS with short notice to support the Warfighter. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. Daily duties will be performed at S3I in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Support the Missile Defense Agency with the Deployment, Testing, Integration and Upgrading of the THAAD missile system equipment pieces of the Tactical Operations Station (TOS) and Launch Control System (LCS)
• Follow detailed test procedures in a fast-paced field environment.
• Travel to various locations specified by the Missile Defense Agency in support of THAAD operations and testing.
• Deploy and provide support for various Tactical Communications systems.
