The Systems Engineering professional works independently, converts product requirements into total system solutions, leads trade studies, and implements common work practices. Responsible for a Sub-System of a major new product development program or the entire scope of a smaller new product development program. Provide expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fan systems, and thermal management system analysis in the development of next generation high efficiency and environmentally friendly HVAC&R and electronic control systems. Develop and execute testing and qualification for systems, sub-systems, and components. Review test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications. Provide reliability analysis of components and systems. Develop and coordinate engineering documents and release. Provide daily direction to supporting Designers & Test Technicians. Prepare presentations for Qualification Review Boards including demonstrating the use of Quality System deployment tools. Collaborate with team members from Marketing, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering. Document process improvements as part of standard engineering work. Identification of reliable and cost-effective purchased components required for new product development projects.
