Senior Systems Engineer
About The Position
Lentech is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer. This role involves becoming proficient in the Forward Networks commercial tool, overseeing its day-to-day operations including data collection setup and maintenance. The engineer will use the tool to model and visualize network infrastructure, verify network behavior, and ensure compliance. Responsibilities also include providing technical support, user training, reports, and documentation for the Forward Networks platform, collaborating with external teams to resolve technical challenges, and serving as a technical expert and mentor to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD
- 20 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Network Security (within the past 2 years)
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications and tools.
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Scripting development

Responsibilities
- Become familiar with the Forward Networks commercial tool, and quickly become proficient in it.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Forward Networks tool to include set up and maintenance of data collection tasks.
- Utilizing the Forward Networks tool, model and visualize the network infrastructure in order to verify network behavior and ensure network compliance.
- Provide technical support, user training, reports, and documentation for the Forward Networks platform.
- Collaborate with external teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior engineers
