About The Position

Lead systems engineering for an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Work on-site at a Government facility as a trusted engineering partner to mission system owners. Own engineering rigor across exceptionally complex systems spanning software, data, and infrastructure. Shape how mission needs become verified, delivered capability. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

TS/SCI Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with ability to obtain Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).
8+ years of systems engineering experience on complex software-intensive systems.
Demonstrated experience with requirements management, interface definition, and V&V.
Experience supporting Government programs through engineering reviews and technical baselines.
Strong technical writing and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to work on-site at a Government facility.

Nice To Haves

Experience with GEOINT systems or geospatial capabilities.
Experience in Agile or SAFe delivery environments.
Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from mission needs to delivered capability.
Define and manage system interfaces, interface control documentation, and cross-system dependencies.
Develop and maintain system design documentation, engineering artifacts, and technical baselines.
Lead verification and validation planning and support test execution across releases.
Perform engineering trade studies and risk assessments; recommend courses of action.
Coordinate engineering activities with Government engineers, delivery teams, and external programs.
Mentor mid-level and junior systems engineers and enforce engineering standards.
