As a systems engineer for Tactical Systems working in Mission Computers and Sustainment Solutions, your career will help protect the US Army, Navy, Air Force and other Government and International entities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific field.
- Strong electrical engineering foundation/skills and basic Linux based command line skills are critical to your success in this position
- Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting in an electronics/software lab
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required
- Currently hold an active Secret clearance
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experienced / trained in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) preferably Cameo/SysML
- Proven use and understanding of system engineering concepts
- Experience across the entire product development process Including Architecture, requirements, test procedure development, system integration and requirement verification and validation
- Cost Account Manager (CAM) training or experience
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy
Responsibilities
- Performing system engineering functions such as developing and managing systems level requirements, performing functional bench test and qualification tests in electronics and environmental lab environments, and providing engineering support to production and depot evaluations for repair of field returns.
- Perform requirements management using DOORS.
- Develop and assess supplier specifications to system requirements, and assess adequacy of supplier product performance to specifications.
- Perform root cause and corrective action investigations.
- Perform full product development lifecycle in adherence to documented engineering processes.
- Apply your subject matter expertise of electrical engineering, software, and testing to complex electronic products in adherence to industry, government and military standards.
- Perform operations, installations, integration and validation, and support activities at domestic and international customer locations.
- Develop and deliver customer training.
- Hands-on trouble shoot electronic boxes and boards in an engineering electronics lab and on the production floor.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
