About The Position

The Senior Systems Engineer will support next-generation commercial and military aerospace engine development programs, with a focus on gas turbine performance and operability analysis and NPSS engine modeling. The role involves hands-on building, debugging, and refining of NPSS models and conducting steady-state and/or transient thermodynamic analysis. The engineer will also apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and requirements decomposition, collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams, and influence engine development from concept through qualification. Applicants should have personally performed NPSS modeling and gas turbine performance analysis, rather than only using analysis results.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of gas turbine performance and operability analysis experience.
• Strong hands-on experience building, debugging, and refining NPSS models.
• Expertise in steady-state and/or transient thermodynamic analysis.
• MBSE and requirements decomposition experience.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Personal experience performing NPSS modeling and gas turbine performance analysis; experience only consuming analysis results is insufficient.
