About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer. This role involves providing technical analysis and program/project management support for the development of life-cycle strategies, requirements, work statements, and technical documentation pertinent to ECIs, SHIPALTs, TEMPALTs, SUBSAFE, and DSS-SOC. The engineer will also serve as the Configuration Manager, responsible for implementing and maintaining processes for configuration management, document controls, deviation/departure tracking, and schedule/milestone establishment. Additionally, the role requires coordinating and participating in program and technical status meetings, developing inputs, documenting proceedings, and tracking action items. Significant engineering drawing and technical research, verification, and resolution services are needed to accurately verify configuration and technical data. The position also involves providing planning and estimating services to validate engineering estimates for purchasing and rough order of magnitude (ROM) preparations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
• At least 5 years of experience providing configuration management, planning and estimating and commitment tracking support for a submarine Program Office.

Responsibilities
