About The Position

Join CACI as a System Engineer and play a key role in shaping solutions across the full systems engineering life cycle—from concept development through deployment, sustainment, and retirement. In this role, you will collaborate closely with government sponsors, SETAs, senior leaders, and cross‑functional teams to address technical challenges, drive clarity, and ensure mission success. You will directly influence high‑impact decisions by transforming complex data into meaningful insights for government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Full‑Scope Polygraph.
  • Strong understanding of microelectronics fundamentals.
  • Solid knowledge of SIGINT and military operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with test engineering.
  • Ability to collaborate across programs and teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline and 6 years of systems engineering experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Master’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline (substitutes for 4 years of experience).
  • PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline (substitutes for 4 years of experience).
  • Qualified Engineering Fields Include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, Engineering Management.
  • Related Disciplines Include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting large‑scale budget and requirements management.
  • Background working across government test environments or multi‑program SETA structures.
  • Demonstrated success supporting high‑visibility government engineering program

Responsibilities

  • Apply systems engineering principles across all life cycle phases, ensuring technical quality and integrity.
  • Engage with government sponsors to discuss technical considerations, resolve issues, and address engineering risks.
  • Collaborate with diverse program teams, senior executives, and overseers to maintain alignment and clarity.
  • Support one or more ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, delivering complete and high‑quality engineering products.
  • Analyze multiple, complex data sources and convert findings into actionable information for decision makers.
  • Work effectively across diverse and multi‑disciplinary teams to meet program goals.
  • Coordinate with SETAs and government test offices to support testing and integration activities.
