About The Position

Banner Defense is looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. This role will support the MDA Chief Engineer in transforming the agency's approach to engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MBSE tools and a desire to use these tools to move the agency away from document-driven engineering.

Requirements

• Master's degree in STEM field
• 12+ years of related professional experience
• US citizenship
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Strong Model-based engineering experience
• Ability to excel in a team setting
• Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains

Nice To Haves

• Expertise in MBSE Tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.)
• MDA Experience
• Expertise in C2, data transport, PNT, or interoperability

Responsibilities

• Assist with capturing and developing new system models to become the backbone for how MDA will approach future engineering efforts.
• Leverage skills with a variety of MBSE tools.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.
