About The Position

We're hiring a Level III Systems Integration Engineer to lead the integration of software, hardware, and network subsystems into complete radar systems. You'll take ownership of complex integration efforts — bringing together disparate components, resolving interface issues, and ensuring systems function seamlessly from the bench to the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in systems integration spanning software, hardware, and network domains
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot cross-disciplinary integration issues (software/hardware interfaces, network protocols, data links)
  • Strong working knowledge of networked system architectures and communication protocols
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex integration tasks and mentor junior engineers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with radar, RF, or defense systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of software, hardware, and network components into functioning subsystems and full systems
  • Define and execute integration plans, procedures, and test protocols to verify interface compatibility and system-level performance
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration defects across software, hardware, and network boundaries
  • Configure and validate networked system architectures, including data interfaces, protocols, and communications links
  • Debug integration issues spanning multiple disciplines, working closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams
  • Drive integration activities to completion on time and within budget
  • Analyze system and subsystem designs to identify integration risks early and recommend corrective action
  • Document integration architecture, interface specifications, and test results
  • Build and validate prototypes and test beds to retire integration risk ahead of full-system delivery
  • Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for integration assignments
  • Communicate clearly, in writing and verbally, with software, hardware, program management, and customer stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach less-experienced engineers on integration methods and troubleshooting techniques
  • Review customer specifications and requirements, and develop integration approaches that best support them, including cost as a design variable
  • Participate in proposal preparation for integration-related scope
  • Attend engineering, customer, and business meetings as required
  • Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values, and culture of the organization
