We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer – Integration and Test, supporting one of our premier programs within Raytheon, an RTX Business. In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. Within Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), we integrate, verify, and validate our products by developing test strategies, executing integration activities, analyzing system performance, and ensuring mission-critical capabilities perform as intended. Your experience with software integration, automated testing, verification and validation, and customer engagement will be instrumental to program success.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience as an Integration and/or Test Engineer supporting software development programs on government contracts
Experience writing, executing, and integrating automated tests using automated test tools
Experience developing scripts using Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
Experience supporting software verification and validation activities in a systems integration environment
Active and transferable DoD TS U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain special program access.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience with automated test frameworks such as Cucumber
Experience developing and deploying software in cloud environments
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, and verification and validation

Responsibilities

Execute the program’s test strategy, including test process development, baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation
Support full lifecycle integration and testing of real-time ground software systems, including software setup, test execution, regression analysis, and root cause resolution
Collaborate across multi-vendor and multi-disciplinary teams to integrate and validate software releases from various upstream development teams
Support customer-led mission test events and operational demonstrations
Partner with Raytheon senior leadership, government customers, and technical subject matter experts to support system development and test execution
Analyze system performance, identify technical issues, and drive solutions to closure
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery activities
Work within a collaborative Agile program environment
