About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - ETL to join our team. This role involves understanding and utilizing data modeling and ETL processes, employing Agile development methodologies, and possessing familiarity with cloud computing principles. The successful candidate will clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, both in person and in writing, and will manage A&A/ATO compliance, forms, scans/updates, routine information systems security tasks, and systems engineering documentation.

Requirements

TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required
Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of work history may be considered in lieu of degree.
Problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking
Experience with AWS Services (architecture, security, scalability)
Understanding of ETL pipelines associated with AI/ML algorithms and their relation to data flow and driving business value.

Nice To Haves

Implementation and operation of virtualization software (Docker/Kubernetes)
Experience implementing cloud infrastructure in high security environments
Experience crafting data visualizations/system diagrams/architecture documentation
Knowledge of neo4j graph database technologies, cypher query language
Systems engineering support for AI/ML, LLM development projects
Programming experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript
