As a Senior Systems Design Engineer, you will manage a talented team of engineers responsible for the creation and execution of innovative system designs tailored for security solutions in government contracts. In this role, you will oversee project implementation, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to stringent standards. You will lead bid and proposal efforts, guiding your team through systems verification testing and product/integration testing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, computer technology, or a related field from an accredited institution OR a minimum of six years of experience in electronic and/or security system design
  • At least five years of IT systems, security solutions, fiber optics, or electrical technical experience
  • Three years specifically in system design experience
  • Proficiency in technical writing for Statements of Work (SOW), technical upgrades, and bid proposals
  • Supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current US Citizenship (for government security investigation eligibility)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with network infrastructure and configuration
  • Experience in the design and installation of IP cameras
  • Proficiency in tools such as Visio, AutoCAD, and various test instruments, including Network Analyzers and OTDR
