About The Position

Astrion is hiring a Senior Systems Cybersecurity professional for the Enterprise IT and Cyber Infrastructure directorate, working in Cloud One. The role is located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts. The position requires an active Secret U.S. security clearance and offers an annual salary range of $140,000 to $150,000. Travel is limited, as needed.

The professional will ensure that system and application deliverables comply with Department of Defense and Air Force cybersecurity requirements. This includes cybersecurity policies, Certification and Accreditation policies, the Risk Management Framework, and Public Key Infrastructure requirements.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret U.S. security clearance.
• Meet one of the following education and experience combinations: a master's or doctoral degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including 5 years in the DoD; a bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, including 8 years in the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that system and application deliverables meet DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy requirements.
• Ensure system deliverables comply with DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 17-130, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.
• Ensure compliance with DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems, and AFI 17-101, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.
• Support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, to achieve standardized PKI-supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification, and authentication.
