About The Position

TekSynap is seeking a Senior Systems Architect, Enterprise Mobility (MDM) to support the DLA Enterprise IT Architecture (EIA) Support Services task order under JETS 2.0 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The role supports the DLA Enterprise IT Architecture Division and Zero Trust PMO within DLA Information Operations (J6/J64). The task order is planned to start December 1, 2026, is contingent upon contract award and government approval, and combines Directory Services, Enterprise Infrastructure Application Support, Enterprise Software and Mobility, and Zero Trust Architecture support. Work spans NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and cloud environments at DLA sites nationwide. This position is designated Key Personnel; the selected proposal candidate must provide a resume and current certifications, sign a Letter of Commitment with TekSynap, and be available to start December 1, 2026 if TekSynap wins. The architect leads architecture, engineering, and project management for DLA enterprise software and mobility, including the MDM platform. The position is onsite in an office at DLA Headquarters in Fort Belvoir, VA, with a low noise level. The regular schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday; evening and weekend work may be requested to meet program and contract needs. Travel is less than 10%, with local travel to DLA Land and Maritime as needed, though the task order does not fund travel. The position requires ten years of IT experience, including five years of project management and five years of MDM engineering, along with federal environment experience, an active Secret clearance, and specified certifications. The target salary range is $140,000–$190,000, determined in part by individual qualifications and contract and organizational requirements. Requirements

Ten years of IT experience, including five years of project management and five years of MDM engineering.
Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts in federal environments, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Federal Civil agencies, or military organizations.
Willingness to sign a Letter of Commitment for the proposal and availability to start December 1, 2026 if TekSynap wins the contract.
A project management certification.
One current Microsoft certification from the listed options (MCSA or MCSE (2016), AZ-104, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, MD-102, AZ-800, AZ-801, or MS-102), or CISA ICS300.
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II baseline certification.
A computing environment certification from the current DLA approved Computing Environment Certification List.
Active Secret clearance; the position is designated IT-I Critical Sensitive.
U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience supporting the same or a similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape.
Experience with Intune or another enterprise MDM platform on a DoD network.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, engineering, and project management for DLA enterprise software and mobility, including the MDM platform.
Plan mobile operating system and application updates, testing them on pilot devices before fleet rollout within the seven-day window.
Track MDM certificates and tokens, including Apple push certificates, to prevent expiration from forcing devices to re-enroll.
Lead the IT Specialist (Mobility Engineer) and Senior Systems Administrator staff in Task 3.
Manage mobility project schedules, risks, and status reporting to the Government.
Support Zero Trust device activities and maintain mobility STIG compliance and architecture documentation.
