About The Position

Capstone Research Corporation is seeking to expand its team. Capstone Research Corporation is headquartered in Huntsville Alabama. We are a customer-oriented engineering services company providing world class research and development support across the Department of Defense (DoD): Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Capstone Research Corporation has an immediate opening at Eglin AFB and/or remote for a Senior Systems Analyst to support warfighter integration between USAF PAE C3BM Deployable Systems and service stakeholders. Position Description: We are seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert to support warfighter integration for the USAF PAE C3BM Deployable Systems Branch, with emphasis on aligning development, test, fielding, and operational stakeholder needs for ABADS MD and TOC-L capabilities. This position will serve as a key bridge between development teams, USAF operational users, test organizations, program offices, and joint stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of operational command and control experience, programmatic and project management expertise, technical understanding, and test or joint analysis experience. The role focuses on advancing USAF interoperability and operational synergy across Joint All-Domain Command and Control, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Joint Tactical Fire Control, and Homeland Air and Missile Defense mission areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and significant relevant experience (12+ years) in air and missile defense, joint fires, C2/C3BM, tactical datalinks, sensors, weapons integration, or related mission areas
  • Demonstrated understanding of USAF command and control systems, tactical C2 operations, and joint operational integration.
  • Experience working with or supporting USAF and joint stakeholders involved in requirements, development, test, fielding, or operational employment.
  • Familiarity with Joint All-Domain Command and Control, Integrated Air and Missile Defense, tactical fire control, and/or homeland air defense missions.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with operational users, engineers, program managers, test teams, and senior leaders
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, problem solving, and technical writing skills
  • Active DoD security clearance required. Must be eligible to access classified systems and facilities as required. Active Secret or higher required; TS/SCI preferred
  • Ability to travel 20-35%, as required for test events, user engagements, and operational coordination
  • BS Degree with relevant technical experience
  • Must be US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with PAE C3BM, AFLCMC, 96 TG, 505 CCW, ACC, HAF, NORAD/NORTHCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, or other CCMD USAF service components
  • Operational background in air battle management, air defense, tactical C2, fires integration, AOC operations, CRC operations, ABM, weapons control, or joint IAMD
  • Experience supporting developmental test, operational test, operational exercises, experimentation, or joint analysis.
  • Knowledge of ABADS MD, TOC-L, deployable C2, or related USAF tactical C2 modernization efforts
  • Program management, project management, systems engineering, or acquisition support experience
  • BS STEM Degree (MS Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Support warfighter integration between the C3BM Deployable Systems Branch development team and relevant USAF, joint, and service stakeholders
  • Help translate operational needs, mission threads, tactics, techniques, procedures, and stakeholder feedback into actionable development, test, and fielding priorities
  • Coordinate with organizations involved in the development, developmental test, operational test, fielding, and employment of USAF tactical C2 systems
  • Engage stakeholders such as PAE C3BM, AFLCMC, 96th Test Group, 505th Command and Control Wing, ACC, HAF, CCMD USAF service components, and other joint mission partners
  • Support interoperability analysis, operational assessments, test planning, exercise integration, and capability transition activities
  • Advise on ABADS MD and TOC-L integration with tactical C2, IAMD, fire control, and homeland defense mission architectures
  • Identify operational, technical, procedural, and organizational risks affecting development and fielding
  • Prepare briefings, white papers, analysis products, stakeholder engagement plans, and senior-leader decision support materials
  • Facilitate collaboration across operational, acquisition, test, engineering, and joint communities
