About The Position

The Senior Systems Analyst supports enterprise application and data integration initiatives with a strong focus on interfaces, data migration, and system interoperability. This role works across technical and business teams to define requirements, develop interface specifications, and support end‑to‑end implementation, testing, and deployment. The position plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, system alignment, and successful delivery across complex, multi‑system environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 15 or more years of experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle
  • 10 or more years of experience in systems analysis and process flow design
  • 5 or more years of experience in database and application design
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting SaaS/COTS product configuration and administration
  • Strong experience with interfaces, data integration, and web services
  • Strong SQL skills including query development and execution
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience with ETL and data migration processes
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, or Excel
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external vendors

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting healthcare or public sector systems and data exchanges
  • Experience working with Medicaid or similar large‑scale data exchange environments
  • Experience with data warehouse implementations and reporting platforms
  • Experience with quality assurance and testing processes
  • Relevant certifications in business analysis, data, or systems analysis

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing systems and integrations to understand data flows, inputs, and outputs
  • Capture, document, and maintain interface technical specifications and process flows
  • Identify gaps in documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to define missing requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and interface designs
  • Support design and implementation of data integrations, web services, and interface solutions
  • Perform and support data migration and ETL activities across systems
  • Collaborate with technical teams on data exchange processes and system integration initiatives
  • Support data warehouse enhancements and integration of new data sources
  • Develop and execute test plans for interfaces and data migration processes
  • Perform validation, defect tracking, retesting, and confirmation of fixes
  • Act as a key technical tester during system and integration testing phases
  • Ensure solutions meet functional, data, and performance requirements
  • Support system deployment, release management, and change control processes
  • Coordinate scheduling and execution of interface jobs across environments
  • Provide post‑production support for interface solutions and resolve operational issues
  • Execute pre‑production testing and validation runs
  • Serve as liaison between business SMEs, IT teams, and external vendors
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align on implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Support collaboration between internal teams and external partners
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and system artifacts
  • Create ad hoc reports using SQL and reporting tools such as SSRS or equivalent
  • Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with standards
  • Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies and improvements
