About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator/TTO Lead to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic team delivers information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors, perform system security vulnerability assessments and solution development, provide enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security services. Ideal candidate will have experience leading technical teams (system administrators, ISSEs, etc) and ability to review mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a System Administrator on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a BS degree, totaling 15 years of SA experience.
• Demonstrated experience in Linux environments.
• Working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• DOD 8570 compliance with minimum of IAT Level 2.
• Ability to lead a technical team (system administrators, ISSEs, etc).
• Experience with monitoring mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission.
• Strong communications skills.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Deliver information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors.
• Perform system security vulnerability assessments and solution development.
• Provide enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security services.
• Lead technical teams (system administrators, ISSEs, etc).
• Review mission performance to ensure proper execution of the mission.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
• Collaborate extensively with project personnel and partner/customer groups.
• Provide input on contract deliverables as requested.
