About The Position

System Engineer Level 3 – Security / ISSO Support Position Specifics: Provide systems engineering support in an ISSO-like capacity, serving as a security coordinator across assigned products. This role will support security-related engineering activities including coordination with product teams, SSP reauthorization efforts, 508 compliance support, and partnership with the Y433 cloud architecture team for movement into the cloud. The ideal candidate brings strong systems engineering discipline along with experience supporting security, compliance, and cloud transition efforts in a complex DoD or IC environment.

Requirements

• 20 years of Systems Engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field
• Five additional years of SE experience may substitute for the degree

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting Information Assurance, security-related requirements, certification/accreditation activities, and systems engineering documentation is highly desired under the SE3 framework

Responsibilities

• Serve as the security coordination point for assigned products and stakeholders
• Support SSP reauthorization and related systems engineering/security documentation
• Assist with 508 compliance coordination and tracking
• Work with cloud architecture teams to support secure migration planning and execution
• Support risk identification, requirements traceability, and lifecycle documentation tied to security needs
• Coordinate across engineering, security, and mission stakeholders to ensure compliance and technical alignment
