About The Position

Our enterprise-level client in Detroit, MI (48239), has an immediate need to add a Senior System Engineer to the team. This role involves leading or supporting plant risk management meetings, defining remediation plans, and analyzing/remediating vulnerabilities. The engineer will also assess risks for shopfloor changes, execute security profiles, manage plant security posture, and monitor endpoint protection and access control baselines. Additionally, the role includes monitoring asset inventory accuracy, supporting feasibility analysis for shopfloor changes, and implementing event-monitoring solutions. The engineer will also manage local recovery and incident plans, support security incident analysis and remediation, and drive the development of backup, recovery, and contingency plans for the shopfloor.

Requirements

SME for identifying, detailing, quantifying and prioritizing risks.
SME for analyzing and remediating vulnerabilities according to RISE defined timelines.
Analyze and incorporate Supplier Risks into the local risk management.
Assess Risks for critical shopfloor changes or shopfloor related projects, such as tool introductions, as requested.
Execution of Security Profiles, for high-profile solutions.
Management of Plant Security Posture.
Manage deviation of Endpoint Protection & Access Control Baselines.
Monitor & assess Asset Inventory accuracy.
Support the feasibility analysis of local Changes on the shopfloor.
Monitor & Support Implementation of Event-Monitoring Solutions on the shopfloor.
Monitor & manage Local Recovery & Incident Plan availability.
Locally support the analysis and remediation of a Security Incident/ Event, based on available data with the goal of on-time reaction and remediation.
Aligning with other OTSEs.
Drive development & implementation of Backup, Recovery & Contingency Plans for shopfloor.

Responsibilities

Lead or support the regular Plant Risk Management meetings, providing SME for identifying, detailing, quantifying and prioritizing risks.
Support the definition of Risk Remediation or compensation plans.
Support the decision on RAAs.
Lead or support the local Vulnerability Management meetings, providing SME for analyzing and remediating vulnerabilities according to RISE defined timelines.
Analyze and incorporate Supplier Risks into the local risk management.
Assess Risks for critical shopfloor changes or shopfloor related projects, such as tool introductions, as requested.
