About The Position

System Engineer Level 3 – Requirements Validation Position Specifics: Support the Senior Leadership Team in managing and validating incoming requirements across a large, complex portfolio. This role will serve as the front door for new requirements, engaging stakeholders across mission and business organizations including HR, Security, B, NCU, I&L, CSD, and others. The selected candidate will gather and refine functional needs, help translate them into actionable technical requirements, and assess impacts to cost, schedule, and performance. This role requires strong collaboration skills, comfort operating at the executive level, and experience working in Agile or Agile-at-scale environments supporting large product teams.

Requirements

• 20 years of Systems Engineering experience on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field
• Five additional years of SE experience may substitute for the degree

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate new requirements
• Translate functional needs into technical and operational requirements
• Assess requirement impacts to cost, schedule, and performance
• Route requirements into the appropriate governance and delivery channels
• Support development of requirements documentation, interface inputs, and systems engineering artifacts
• Coordinate across business, technical, and mission teams to ensure requirement traceability and alignment
