About The Position

The Senior System Architect is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and multi-tenant enterprise systems that align with federal security frameworks and organizational architecture standards. This role partners closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience administering enterprise applications or systems.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting production environments.
• Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and multi-tenant systems in enterprise or federal environments.
• Strong understanding of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex, enterprise-scale systems with a focus on scalability, security, and multi-tenant capabilities.
• Ensure system architecture aligns with applicable federal security frameworks, enterprise standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, integration points, and technical roadmaps.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the full system development lifecycle, including design reviews, risk assessments, and performance optimization.
• Support production environments by resolving complex technical issues, enhancing system performance, and ensuring uptime and reliability.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, system diagrams, and technical standards.
• Advise leadership and technical teams on emerging technologies, architectural improvements, and modernization opportunities.
