About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ABAD Senior System Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to design, develop, and maintain multi-site communications networked infrastructure hardware. This position is located at Ramstein Air Base, Germany (International Assignment) NO REMOTE WORK

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related professional or associate's degree with 7+ relevant work experience or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Sec +, etc.)
• 5 + years of experience in a System Administrator role
• Experience with virtualization
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Experience with routers, switches, and firewall configuration
• Understanding of STIG, SCAP, and RMF requirements
• Secret clearance is required

Nice To Haves

• Creating Gold images and server backups with the appropriate OS hardening, leveraging the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Content Application Protocol (SCAP) scans
• Conducting routing and switching within a server enclave, and integration of firewalls

Responsibilities

• Manage account creation and account administration on physical and virtual machines.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Conduct virtual machine builds on physical server stacks.
• Document and maintain servers, create monitoring reports and logs, and ensure functionality of systems.
• Install and administer Windows and Linux servers.
