About The Position

The Senior System Administrator/Engineer will support a high-visibility mission environment and a software development and engineering project focused on productizing its system. The role centers on Linux system administration and engineering in a Kubernetes-based environment. The position is located in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Duty hours are Monday through Friday; a 10 a.m.–6 p.m. shift is preferred. The team must collectively provide coverage from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. An active Poly clearance is required; applicants without one will not be considered.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience as a Linux system administrator or engineer.
Linux administration experience with CentOS or RHEL.
Experience in a Kubernetes-based environment, including Kubernetes tooling and container fundamentals.
Active Poly clearance.
Security+ certification.
