About The Position

This role provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The position involves managing IT system infrastructure and associated processes, supporting day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, and mobile devices. It includes providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, as well as escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Support is also provided for the dispatch system and hardware problems, with continued involvement in the resolution process. The role requires configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing/loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining network component integrity, and implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and using system security (container security, virtual machine security, security boundary enforcement), configuration, and reporting tools.
  • A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.
  • Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
