About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Survey Technician or Land Surveyor Project Manager to join their Geomatics team in Alberta. This role involves working on a variety of projects across Alberta, focusing on creating smart, safe, and sustainable places. The position offers hands-on experience and skill development within a supportive environment. Preference will be given to candidates based in Calgary.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in the geomatics or land surveying industry
• A keen interest and experience in land development and construction surveys
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, proactive approach to teamwork
• A drive to learn, grow, and build a rewarding career in a supportive and collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

• A diploma or degree from a recognized Geomatics or Surveying program
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, or Trimble equipment

Responsibilities

• Gather quality field notes and background data that contribute to accurate and impactful project deliverables
• Assist with conducting topographic, right of way, and subdivision surveys, as well as construction layout activities
• Help monitor project applications through municipal approvals and land titles processes, ensuring project schedules are achieved
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary team members to gather and share vital information
• Contribute to quality control efforts, ensuring plans and computations are accurate and reliable
