This position works within the Utilities Design and Construction Division (UDCD), Land Survey Branch, and performs the following duties: Manages multiple project assignments including research, records analysis, survey data analysis, plat and plan prep in AutoCAD and other specialty programs such as SmartDRAFT, Trimble Business Center, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite; Manages and completes various types of land surveys that includes writing detailed information and depicting graphic exhibits of design, geodetic, construction, land boundary, route, property, and as-built surveys. This position requires the ability to work independently and be an effective communicator to perform the high demanding job tasks of the position and the ability to work with and lead others without formal authority. The successful candidate will have excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
