CU Medicine also provides business operations, revenue cycle and administrative services to support the patients of CU Anschutz School of Medicine providers. We are seeking a highly motivated senior level coder who is looking to step away from production coding, and shift focus towards leading peer review efforts within a Surgical Coding team. This job can be performed 100% remotely and out of state candidates will be considered. The individual in this position will support and lead quality peer review for assigned Coding Services staff through regular audit of both abstraction and edits. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge regarding current rules and usage of ICD 10 and CPT and will apply this expertise when auditing assigned specialties. Additionally, this senior level role will assist in trending, coding analysis, coder feedback and providing education both individually and via group presentations.
