Senior Support Analyst - PathWise Clients Support

About The Position

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our PathWise Solutions Group (PSG) business group within Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions. The salary range for this position is $$74,500 - $99, 500}. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Aon also offers you a generous incentive earning opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in the financial services sector as a Quantitative Analyst / Advisor
  • Knowledge of general insurance products for liability modelling purposes
  • Understanding of financial assets including derivatives
  • Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulations
  • Knowledge and experience with Python.
  • Strong communication skills for heavy team and client interactions
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to operational issues in PathWise based on client specific requirements and processes
  • Assess and prioritize user issues and ensure they are recorded and addressed in a timely manner
  • Create monthly reports for clients which document system availability and support services provided
  • Support cloud operations and maintenance as it pertains to the management of client operations in Aon’s hosted environments.
  • Help maintain and strengthen client relationships through participation in client consultations
  • Become subject matter experts in PathWise software features and functionality.
  • Be a primary contact for select clients
  • Maintain and update insurance liability models as required by software updates and client requests.
  • Maintain financial asset models for use in balance sheet projections of life insurance companies
  • Further the development of robust implementations for end-to-end automated processes in PathWise.
  • Participate in the expansion of PathWise functionality as required or as requested by clients
