About The Position

This role is responsible for managing inventory targets and supply plans for assigned product lines using OMP/SAP, and collaborating with External Manufacturing groups and suppliers. The position supports the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by preparing Supply Review Meeting decks, tracking PLAN metrics, and managing inventory glide paths. It also involves supporting scenario planning for demand changes, projects, supply chain challenges, STEMs, End of Life (EOL), and Last Time Buys (LTB). Additionally, the role supports the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by acting as the Point of Contact (POC) for site PLAN and overseeing site PLAN activities, escalating issues as needed. Maintenance of SAP Master Data/Documents for PLAN is also a key function.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of related work experience is required.
  • Combined Planning (Supply/Demand), NPI (New Product Introduction) Inventory Management, and Supply Chain experience is required.
  • Experience working in a Supply Chain environment required.
  • Accuracy with attention to detail required.
  • Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions required.
  • Supply Planning Skills required.
  • Ability to drive & apply continuous process improvement tools and improvements to day-to-day functions and projects.
  • Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required.

Nice To Haves

  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS) desirable.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred.
  • First class organizational skills required.
  • Working knowledge of financial processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, execute, and manage daily planning to achieve customer service, LIFR, and inventory goals.
  • Develop deep cross-site and cross-functional relationships and communication with Suppliers, Demand Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution/Logistics to adjust plans for changes in forecast, supply, or customer orders.
  • Demonstrate comfortability with creating and managing complex business scenarios.
  • Manage and proactively communicate supply status and critical supply chain metrics.
  • Perform ad-hoc analytical analysis, recognize issues, develop plans for resolution, and implement or influence support from key partners.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, including presenting information.
  • Work with plants, sourcing partners, and internal cross-functional organizations to improve product cycle time and increase supply flexibility and reliability.
  • Assess and manage partner capacity requirements and capabilities.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels using entitlement modeling and identify and drive minimization of write-offs.
  • Represent and make supply commitments on behalf of the supply chain organization for New Product Launches and Product Extensions, acting as POC/Lead for PLAN site activities.
  • Effectively manage phase-in and phase-out or product changes.
  • Review, approve, and coordinate implementation of Document Change Orders and maintain PLAN SAP master data.
  • Communicate with WW partners regarding Supply Capabilities and projected output.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process.
  • Participate in Global Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and correct supply to affiliates/customers, monitor the effectiveness of team activities, and act as a supply chain coordinator to drive improvements.
  • Manage Purchase Orders, including changes and exception handling.
  • Monitor, prepare, and publish Weekly/Monthly PLAN metrics, including Supplier & Shipment Performance Metrics.
