About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our Intermediates team in Houston, TX. As a key resource within the Chemical Intermediates regional Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for inventory and supply planning for domestic production, tolling, and imports. We are seeking someone who can effectively manage several high-profile products concurrently. You will work with several internal functions, including Global and Regional Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Controlling, Manufacturing, Customer Care, and Procurement.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain, business management, manufacturing, or related functions.
• High proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Leading regional supply chain optimization and S&OP efforts within the Amines portfolio of products and serving as a key interface to both the Regional and Global Product Management and Supply Chain groups.
• Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will develop and execute production and purchase plans in support of customer service goals, inventory targets, and manufacturing efficiencies.
• Combining superior analytical skills with thorough knowledge of current SCM concepts to define and participate in projects targeted to specific opportunities in SCM.
• Driving collaboration and optimization efforts to further customer relationships.
• Adapting and learning other supply chain functions that help support the success of our entire supply chain organization.
• Working closely with operations, product management and commercial leadership.
