This is an Order-to-Cash (O2C) opportunity where you’ll help shape how planning and supply chain operations work across Sensient sites. As a Senior Supply Chain Planner on our Corporate Business Optimization team, you’ll drive smarter, standardized practices that improve on-time performance, optimize inventory and cash flow, and keep operations cost-efficient. Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in supply chain, ideally across material and capacity planning and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, deductive reasoning, attention to detail, and a track record of delivering quality results on time.
  • Hands-on ERP experience, with Oracle JD Edwards preferred, plus strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels and cultures.
  • A positive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to navigate challenges, work independently or collaboratively, and manage shifting priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent required.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work the United States without the need for employment visa sponsorship.

  • APICS CSCP/CPIM preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive standardization: Partner with sites to implement and sustain standard supply chain processes that reduce excess inventory, overproduction, aging products, rework, and distribution inefficiencies.
  • Analyze and improve performance: Consolidate monthly supply chain data, report KPIs, identify trends and root causes, and translate insights into opportunities for improvement.
  • Coach and influence sites: Train and guide site teams on standard work, planning practices, and ERP processes while setting clear expectations and driving adoption.
  • Lead continuous improvement: Assess site practices, identify process and knowledge gaps, develop corrective action plans, and follow through on improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Be a supply chain change leader: Bring Sensient’s supply chain vision to sites, solve roadblocks, maintain relevant planning coursework, and collaborate across the enterprise—with 40–50% travel to Sensient locations internationally.
