About The Position

The Supply Chain Manager owns the end-to-end supply chain for Lincoln Electric - Harris Products: ensuring that people, processes, data, and technology work together to deliver superior customer service, optimized inventory, efficient operations, and sustainable business growth. The role provides governance and leadership across planning and inventory and eventually will own the Harris S&OP cycle. This role ensures that products are manufactured on time, while continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency, optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, finance Operations, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and production systems.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence across functions and drive sustainable change
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, data-driven approach
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and operational excellence
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages. Ability to calculate conversions of standard and metric measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production plan aligned with demand forecasts and inventory levels (including WIPS)
  • Develop mid-term/long-term production plan in line with service level target
  • Lead cross-functional meeting to ensure the tradeoff of decisions are well understood
  • Analyses and maintains appropriate planning parameters in collaboration with manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and labor by coordinating with procurement and logistics teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and manage material requirements planning (MRP).
  • Analyzes and maintains planning parameters in line with business unit strategy within the guidelines defined by the supply chain center of excellence
  • Enforce the usage of enterprise defined digital tools.
  • Owns the Harris demand planning cycle
  • Improve forecast accuracy and bias through advanced analytics, segmentation, and statistical modeling
  • Partner with Commercial, Finance, and Product Management to align demand assumptions and drive one set of numbers
  • Coordinate with other demand planning functions to ensure global alignment
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
  • Develop training programs to build internal capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT, Digital and other business units to drive transformation.
  • Define local KPI such as OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), Customer Service Level, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turns, Backlog, Schedule Attainment. and provide root cause analysis for enterprise KPIs
  • Provide updates to executive leadership and adjust strategies accordingly.
