Senior Supply Chain Manager (AI Sourcing)

NscaleSeattle, WA
$110,000 - $159,000Hybrid

About The Position

Nscale is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to support procurement execution and operational delivery for AI infrastructure hardware categories, including GPUs, servers, networking, and IT equipment, as the company expands its datacenter footprint globally. This role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery of AI infrastructure, driving operational reliability, supporting consistent planning processes, and maintaining the pace of procurement in a fast-growing environment. The focus is on the AI infrastructure layer (compute, networking, IT equipment) rather than civil infrastructure. This is a high-visibility position for an individual who thrives on execution complexity and wants to contribute to large-scale hardware procurement and deployment in the AI infrastructure sector.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement operations, or hardware sourcing.
  • Background in datacenter, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale environments.
  • Experience supporting GPU-based hardware procurement or large-scale server and networking deployments.
  • Track record managing OEM and hardware vendor relationships from RFQ through delivery and acceptance.
  • Solid understanding of inbound logistics coordination, including import/export requirements, freight planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Strong Excel skills; able to build and maintain procurement tracking and scenario models.
  • A clear communicator who can translate delivery risk into plain-language updates and drive action across functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to procurement process standardization across multiple sites or geographies.
  • Comfortable working across IT equipment categories — networking hardware, end-user compute, enterprise peripherals.
  • Familiarity with supply chain or procurement systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Coupa.
  • Exposure to BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for operational reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Learn current procurement workflows and map supplier relationships across GPU vendors, server OEMs, and IT equipment partners.
  • Identify delivery risks related to lead times, contract terms, or discrepancies between orders and needs.
  • Build working relationships with infrastructure, finance, and commercial teams.
  • Establish the operational baseline for the supply chain team.
  • Manage vendor relationships and purchase order workflows for AI infrastructure hardware.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics and delivery scheduling to ensure AI infrastructure builds stay on track.
  • Act as a point of escalation for supplier commitment delays.
  • Work with cross-site teams to standardize planning and procurement processes, including demand forecasting, PO issuance, and delivery milestone management.
  • Take on a growing role in the IT equipment category, including end-user compute, networking peripherals, and enterprise hardware.
  • Help build vendor relationships and operational playbooks for scaling the business.
  • Design reporting cadences and dashboards for leadership visibility into hardware availability, delivery status, and procurement risk.
  • Contribute ideas to the maturation of the supply chain function.
