About The Position

Nscale is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join their Strategic Planning team. This role focuses on forecasting AI demand and capacity supply globally, requiring deep hands-on supply chain expertise in areas like procurement, supplier management, BOM-level planning, and lead time/capacity dynamics. The position involves close collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Product Engineering to ensure demand plans are grounded in real supply chain constraints. The ideal candidate will audit existing forecast processes, identify breakdowns against procurement and supplier constraints, and build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include contributing to and maintaining a global demand forecast, modeling demand volatility, and stress-testing demand plans against supplier lead times and build capacity. The role also involves integrating revenue forecasts with infrastructure capacity planning, flagging risks, and providing data-driven, supplier-informed input into capital planning and GPU reservation strategies. Success will be measured by forecast accuracy, quality of supply chain input, responsiveness to demand shifts, and demand plan stability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or infrastructure/hardware supply chain.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of supply chain mechanics: supplier management, lead times, BOM structures, procurement cycles, and build/manufacturing constraints.
  • Experience in high-growth technology, infrastructure-heavy, or hardware environments (AI, cloud, data center, or similar strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure components including compute, networking, racks, and power systems, from a supply chain and sourcing perspective.
  • Ability to translate real-world supply chain constraints into forecasting and planning inputs.
  • Solid analytical skills, comfortable working with demand models and scenario planning.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable partnering with Finance, Sales, and Engineering.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, contributing to planning frameworks being built from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Audit existing forecast processes across GPU nodes, rack assemblies, networking fabric, and power and cooling equipment.
  • Map how commercial pipeline, customer contracts, and AI cluster configurations translate into BOM-level demand signals.
  • Identify where forecasts break down against real-world procurement and supplier constraints.
  • Build working relationships with Sales, Finance, and Product Engineering teams.
  • Contribute to and help maintain the global demand forecast (rolling 18-24 month view).
  • Model demand volatility, ramp curves, and burst scenarios across customer segments.
  • Ground demand models in supplier lead times, component availability, and build capacity.
  • Work closely with supply chain and procurement to stress-test demand plans for executability.
  • Help integrate revenue forecasts with infrastructure capacity planning.
  • Flag risks tied to lead times and GPU availability.
  • Contribute analysis into monthly demand reviews.
  • Provide data-driven, supplier-informed input into capital planning processes.
  • Support GPU reservation and long-lead component strategy.
  • Ensure deployment timing holds up against contractual and revenue commitments.
