POSITION OVERVIEW Under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager, Logistics Warehouse : Process items/parts from field bases and hangars routed through central control for appropriate action on both serviceable and unserviceable parts Accountable for routing of parts both physically and electronically within the Ramco system to internal shops or external repair Accountable for tracking and processing core returns in accordance with established contracts or agreements Coordinate the unloading of material from bases and verify against freight transport manifest all are accounted for and has accurate information (tags, part numbers, serial numbers, and associated paperwork) Ensure hazardous material was properly shipped and is handled by qualified Hazmat personnel and will be handled as per processing of Hazardous Materials Packaging procedures Accountable for regulatory requirements associated with the routing of aircraft material Audit and report all Business Unit compliance related to core returns Audit and report all Business Unit compliance related to core returns ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES Accountable to ensure compliance with PHI polices and applicable hazmat regulations Prior to opening containers, check for damage to containers, take pictures and report damage freight received Damage extended to material within the container shall be reported to the Supply Chain Lead Information Systems / Global Logistics along with pictures of the container packed, then unpacked, as well as shipping documents for processing the claim Develop reports and KPIs for core management for all Business Units Track and process core returns to suppliers . Generate exchange issue/shipper for core returns Perform research analysis for cores (history, PBH, under warranty, repairable) Coordinate with Buyer/Planners on excess material or material to be held instead of sending for repair Route warranty items to guarantee repair and other unserviceable items based on external or internal repair requirements. Responsible for the processing of scrap material transactions and the delivery of scrap material to be physically scrapped. Ensure aircraft components/parts are properly protected from contamination (lines/component orifices properly capped) Ensure unserviceable items are segregated from serviceable items QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Minimum high school diploma , associate or bachelor’s degree preferred . Related work experience in aviation or similar background will be considered. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation supply chain Supplier management experience preferred Knowledge of aircraft and component parts Ability to organize work, proficient computer skills, excellent writing and verbal communication skills Knowledge of PHI’s Ramco system or any other maintenance related ERP system preferred Hazmat knowledge Forklift experience Ability to work well as a team member and ability to represent the company both internally and externally at all levels as related to MRO business ORGANIZATIONAL CORE VALUES Safe – We are absolute in our belief in the tenets of Destination Zero and that Zero is not only achievable, but the only acceptable outcome.
