We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Austin, TX, reporting to the Director of Outbound Supply Chain. This role is crucial for managing the movement of product from global manufacturing partners into our warehouse network. Key responsibilities include freight booking, forwarder coordination, customs clearance, and ensuring accurate inbound data. The analyst will also conduct RFPs, negotiate rates with transportation partners, manage landed costs and transit times, and recover duties. This is a highly collaborative position involving cross-functional work with Planning, Fulfillment, Finance, Product, and Sourcing teams, as well as external partners like forwarders, brokers, and warehouses.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in international logistics, transportation, import operations, trade compliance, or a related analytical supply chain role
• Hands-on experience managing inbound ocean and air freight, including quoting, booking, and forwarder coordination
• Experience running carrier or forwarder RFPs and negotiating rates and service terms
• Working knowledge of US customs clearance, HTS classification, and Incoterms
• Experience managing freight forwarder, customs broker, or carrier relationships, including performance and cost accountability
• Experience managing or directing offshore, outsourced, or partner resources, including training, SOP ownership, and performance accountability
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization; comfortable building reporting and tools that others make decisions from
• Experience working with ERP (bonus: NetSuite) and transportation management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating to internal management and external partners
• Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and projects and consistently deliver on deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required

Responsibilities

• Quote and book inbound ocean, air, and domestic freight, balancing cost and transit time against inventory need.
• Coordinate with vendors and forwarders to secure on-time cargo pickup and keep shipments moving to plan.
• Lead RFPs and rate negotiations with freight forwarders and small parcel carriers, and hold partners accountable to the terms negotiated.
• Manage freight forwarder relationships day to day, including performance against SLA, exception escalation, and rate validation.
• Manage small parcel and LTL carrier relationships, including service performance and cost review.
• Develop, maintain, and train vendors on the routing guide to drive compliance across the supplier base.
• Build reporting and tools to translate freight cost, transit time, and ETA data into usable insights for operational decisions and long-term strategy.
• Manage customs clearance end to end with the broker, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and complete documentation.
• Support HTS classification for new and existing products and maintain the classification database.
• Support Post Summary Corrections, duty drawback, and duty refund processes, tracking recoveries.
• Maintain audit-ready import records and support responses to CBP inquiries.
• Partner with stakeholders to support tariff and trade strategy, providing classification, valuation, and landed cost analysis.
• Create inbound ASNs in the ERP, including packing list review and PO matching.
• Track inbound ASN ETAs and manage delivery appointments with warehouse partners.
• Keep ETA and receipt data current in the ERP for accurate inbound visibility.
• Investigate and resolve receiving variances with warehouses and vendors, driving corrective action.
• Identify and lead process improvement and automation opportunities across the inbound workflow.
• Manage the offshore FBA coordinator, overseeing the process, outcome, and partner relationships for inventory deployment into Amazon's fulfillment network.
• Oversee translation of the demand plan into an executable FBA transfer plan and review inventory needs with Planning.
• Ensure accurate and on-time data entry across Amazon Seller Central, ERP, and WMS.
• Ensure shipping documentation, carton and pallet labels, and Amazon routing requirements are complete and on time.
• Share shipment volume forecasts with 3PLs to secure labor and hold them accountable to on-time outbound.
• Track carrier pickups and deliveries into Amazon, escalating issues to prevent delays.
• Own freight strategy for FBA shipments, identifying lowest-cost transportation methods and evaluating mode, carrier, and routing changes.
• Maintain SOPs and train the offshore coordinator on process changes, logistics, or Amazon fulfillment requirements.
