About The Position

As a Senior Production Supervisor at Systems Control, you will play a critical leadership role in our world-class manufacturing facility, guiding a team of IBEW employees and supporting other production supervisors to deliver excellence in safety, quality, and productivity. You will be a key driver of operational performance, continuous improvement, and team development within our fast-growing organization. Shift hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30pm – 6am. Requirements

  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment, with a successful record of expanding responsibilities in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20–30 IBEW employees, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development plans.
  • Provide leadership and continuously drive for operational consistency amongst production supervisors.
  • Champion company values and serve as a cultural ambassador across shifts and departments.
  • Own daily execution of production schedules, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics; lead structured problem-solving efforts to address gaps and drive improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality systems, and union contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Materials, Design, Safety, Quality) to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
  • Lead and participate in Rapid Improvement Events and other lean initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to staffing strategies, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
  • Approve and manage employee attendance records and production transactions.
  • Maintain and improve 5-S standards across work areas.
  • Ensure consistent communication across all shifts to support seamless operations.
