About The Position

The Senior Supervisor, Operations Management (P8-A Program) is responsible for managing the execution of the P8 Depot Level Maintenance Tasks. The Senior Aircraft Supervisor will be responsible for the maintenance team operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Minimum 1 year experience with the P-8A Aircraft or 737 Commercial Aircraft as a maintenance technician or Supervisor.
Minimum 1 year experience in performance management, including employee coaching, feedback, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
Must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

Experience with compliance to NAVAIRIST 3710.1G, DCMA INST 8210, and/or CNAFINST 4790.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate expectations, align teams to priorities, and collaborate effectively across functions.
Sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions and resolve operational issues.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
Supervise, coach, and develop frontline operational staff to meet performance expectations.
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate workflow, labor, equipment, and materials to support production or service goals.
Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective action to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving methods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and human resources to resolve issues and improve execution.
Manage staffing needs, scheduling, performance management, training, and employee engagement activities.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize downtime, waste, and disruption.
Support budget, resource, and cost control efforts while maintaining service and production targets.
Prepare and present reports on operational results, workforce performance, and improvement plans to leadership.
