About The Position

The Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety Supervisor oversees the EHS program and supports company and customer objectives. The role maintains and communicates EHS processes, ensures compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations, audits facilities, develops programs and action plans, leads safety training, reports incidents, and carries out safety projects assigned by leadership. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of the supply chain and logistics industry.
• Understanding of industry-related state and federal rules and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Solid understanding of OSHA requirements.
• Solid time and project management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, coordinate, and communicate EHS processes and procedures.
• Review, administer, and maintain company policies and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct on-site audits of facility requirements related to EHS programs and initiatives, and ensure action items for facilities and processes are resolved.
• Review, research, develop, and communicate EHS programs and solutions; develop action plans as necessary.
• Lead safety meetings, training, and continuing education.
• Initiate and complete safety incident reports, RCCAs, and customer reporting needs.
• Execute Safety Program projects as directed by leadership.
