Supervision of the construction project resulting in successful project completion. This role involves enforcing safety procedures, attending safety training, verifying subcontractor certificates of insurance, and preparing/maintaining the CPM job schedule. The Senior Superintendent will develop Owner and Architect’s confidence, recruit, organize, train, direct, and coordinate the field construction team, and assure work quality by setting standards for quality control. Additional responsibilities include ordering materials and tools, preparing necessary reports, documenting and completing punchlists, reviewing drawings and submittals, chairing or attending pre-job conferences and subcontractor meetings, performing start-up testing and turnover to the Owner, and documenting final close-out and Owner’s acceptance. The role requires performing manual work only in rare circumstances, the ability to travel as required, and the ability to supervise multiple projects over a large geographic area. Other responsibilities as assigned will also be part of this role.
