About The Position

The Senior Superintendent will be the lead on a $70 million podium construction project, overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is a leadership role, where you will be directly responsible for managing the construction site, coordinating teams, and collaborating with various stakeholders including project managers, subcontractors, and architects. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that the company is known for.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in construction supervision, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects. Prior experience in podium construction or similar mixed-use/commercial projects is highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification is required.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders efficiently.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.).

  • Additional certifications, such as LEED, are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all field operations for the $70 million podium project, ensuring the project is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Supervise and direct a team of subcontractors, laborers, and field personnel, ensuring they adhere to project plans and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues and keep the project on track.
  • Maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and delays are minimized.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure quality control, compliance with codes, and safety regulations.
  • Act as the main point of contact on-site, ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders.
  • Manage the daily logistics of the construction site, including materials delivery, equipment, and personnel.
