About The Position

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Senior Superintendent, Heavy Civil to support field operations by coordinating schedules and resources, communicating scope to Foremen, and ensuring safety processes like JSAs and inspections are completed. This role is crucial for designing and constructing foundations and industrial facilities, improving lives through essential infrastructure work. The position involves attending client meetings, managing materials and tooling needs, verifying daily QA/QC and as-built documentation, reviewing time and field reports, and collaborating closely with the Project Manager. Additionally, the Senior Superintendent will help develop Foremen and trade staff, contributing to efficient, safe, and consistent project execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training in construction industry.
• Experience with structural concrete construction and subcontract management.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.
• Ability to travel and commit to long term onsite projects.
